Mobile Trailer Transport

Picking up your mobile

  • Survey the unit exterior checking for leaks, hazards or defects.
  • Enter the trailer
    • Check that the system / trailer is functioning normally
      • HVAC systems operational
      • Gantry / Magnet is functioning normally
      • (MRI) make sure cold head is running.
    • Secure loose items
    • Close cabinets and doors
    • Secure Tech chairs
    • Check that the Camera is tied down (If applicable)
    • Exit and secure the exterior door.
  • NOTE – The door may be left open to grant access to power controls if they are located inside the unit.
  • Remove and stow rails, stairs and lift
  • Raise or lower front of trailer to properly connect to tractor.
  • Connect tractor to trailer to tractor and hook up electrical and air connections.
  • Raise the landing gear completely
  • Check generator (oil, water, fan belts and fuel) – Start Generator
  • Switch unit from “Shore” power to “Generator” Power
  • Unplug and store power cord, phone cord(s) and data cables.
  • Raise the rear of the trailer and stow supports.
  • Store any remaining blocking and / or supports
  • Close all belly compartment doors
  • Walk around unit making sure it is ready for transport
  • Carefully exit facility making sure to avoid trees and steep driveways (High Center)

 

                        Upon Delivery of your mobile Unit
  • System will be parked in the designated location
  • Level the rear of the trailer (Left to right)
  • Lower landing gear on the front of the trailer and raise enough to safely remove the tractor.
  • Set trailer brakes, unhook airlines and electrical connection. Pull pin and slowly disconnect tractor from trailer.
  • Level front of trailer (Front to Back) NOTE: The front of the trailer must come to level on the upstroke of the hydraulics. Failure to level the unit correctly can cause issues with the trailer.
  • Remove power cord from belly compartment and plug into the shore power outlet provided. (Note this may be a stand-by generator.)
  • Turn the power on at the source
  • Switch the trailer from “Generator” to “Shore”
  • Set up the stairs, Patient lift and guard rails
  • Enter the trailer
    • Check that the system / trailer is functioning normally
      • HVAC systems operational
      • Gantry / Magnet is functioning normally
      • (MRI) make sure cold head is running.
  • Restore the chairs and other items to their normal locations
  • Make sure phone / fax is operational
  • Survey the unit exterior checking for leaks, hazards or defects.
